The Green Bay Packers most eligible bachelor appears to be currently off the market. Fans are almost always consumed with not just the on the field play of a rising star, but they are also intrigued with his personal life. Aaron Rodgers is no different. That is why the rumors started circulating this summer about his possible love interest of late. Aaron Rodgers is being linked to Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Julie Henderson. No where can we confirm the two are boyfriend and girlfriend but there is definitely a romantic flame involved.
Julie Henderson is no stranger to dating someone in the public eye with romantic ties to Def Jam founder Russell Simmons. The speculation is now that Simmons broke up with her and now the NFL quarterback is dating the swimsuit model.
NFL quarterbacks are no stranger to models. New England quarterback Tom Brady married supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Tony Romo, of the Dallas Cowboys, is dating singer and actress Jessica Simpson. Tampa Bay quarterback Jeff Garcia was linked to Playboy model Carmella DeCesare. The bottom line is success on the field kind of breeds success off the field. Aaron Rodgers certainly has his pick of single women to choose from so why not date a swimsuit model like Julie Henderson?
Will it translate into something more on the field? Probably not or it will be just coincidence. Unless she is a possible distraction like Cowboys players accused Jessica Simpson of with Tony Romo. The only correlation in situations like these is usually negative. Or it seems to work out that way. No player has ever won a football game and immediately thanked his wife or girlfriend. At least I can not remember that happening. Although it would be funny to hear Rodgers in his postgame interview after the season opening win over the Bears thank Julie Henderson for providing him with the courage to knock off the big division rival.
Swimsuit model Julie Henderson is 23 years old. Aaron Rodgers will be 26 on December 2nd. Much like Rodgers, Julie is just beginning to reap the rewards of her career gaining new ground. So it is kind of two people going in the same direction. Straight up! We know Julie will not have to rely on Aaron for income. She is not one of those girls who is an NFL gold digger.
Her grandfather, Samuel Henderson, discovered the Henderson grapefruit while working on his citrus farm in South Texas according to Sports Illustrated. That makes Henderson a sort of grapefruit heiress so she is not probably dating Rodgers for his money. It may however, be for his golden arm. Rodgers is one of the young rising quarterbacks in the NFC. Henderson is one of the rising young possible supermodels. We have seen what the exposure from Sports Illustrated can do for a modeling career. So the two could possibly rise to the top together and have some super good looking kids who have great abs and at least one terrific arm!
